For fair-skinned beauties, blonde bombshells, and even the fashion-fearful, wearing white can be a daunting venture.

There’s no better time than Spring to learn how to — effortlessly — wear white. [Blondes, take heart. If you have fair skin, steer clear of starch whites — with your hair and alabaster complexion, a winter-white will work best.]

A beautiful example of the all-white palette comes courtesy the Celine S/S 07 collection. Pieces don’t have to be genre-specific — mixing sporty with preppy can look fabulous — nor do their whites have to be exact shades. Part of looking effortless means pulling together the unlikely. A silk scarf paired with a sporty bomber jacket and wrap-around skirt looks darling.

Limit the look to one ‘dash of flash.’ Metallic leather heels (as shown at right) or a bright-coloured bag will work wonders and prevent uniformity.
