Get the Look: Gwyneth Paltrow's Khaki Pants

Style - Get the Look

When I first saw Gwyneth Paltrow wearing rolled up army green pants, a grey t-shirt, and a black blazer, I experienced déja vu. I was immediately taken back to a similar look styled by none other than Victoria Beckham earlier in March. While Beckham's pants were silk and more cargo style than classic chino, the similarities are undeniable. Both looks are Spring/Summer-friendly, and can help you make the next seasonal transition with style.

To capture Gwyneth's look, pick up Current/Elliott's The Captain cotton pants. Current/Elliott's chino-style khakis wear like a dream. They feature rolled-up cuffs, a straight and flattering leg, and side-slit pockets. 100 percent cotton, these pants are super comfortable and can be styled with anything from platform espadrilles to gladiator sandals. I love how Gwyneth paired hers with a simple grey t-shirt (like Alexander Wang's classic, here) and a dark blazer. She topped off her look by layering some long necklaces.

Not ready to drop 160 dollars for a pair of khakis? The budgeting Every Girl can capture a similar look by styling these everyday chinos by J.Crew. These J.Crew chinos really do fit perfectly (I wear mine almost every Saturday without fail). The loose, relaxed fit adds some character to these 'borrowed from the boys' pants, and the side-seam pockets and back welt pockets are totally figure-flattering. Available in five colours (pictured here in Fatigue green), you've got yourself a new favourite pant.
