- The women are gorgeous — just look at the alabaster complexions and natural beauty of models Vlada Roslyakova, Olga Sherer, Zuzana Gregorova, Regina Feoktistova, and Kamila Fllipclkova.
- The clothing designs are immaculate — the classic Dolce & Gabbana satin bustier dresses, the vibrantly coloured leopard-print slip dresses, tanks, and sweaters, and the lustrous velvet and lace.
- The headbands — well, I'm undecided. I'm a huge fan of headpieces — whether feathered or floral, lace or leather, — and worn right a headpiece can be the highlight of an outfit. The proper headband works well in so many situations. That being said, are these Dolce & Gabbana floral headpieces too much? Are they even practical?
A detailed look at the design: Each Dolce & Gabbana floral headpiece featured in the design house's Fall 2010 ad campaign is anchored by a thick black band. The Dolce & Gabbana headpieces boast huge handmade leopard-print flowers (the same pattern is seen on the aforementioned slip dresses, tanks, and sweaters) that are companioned with smaller fabric daisies, lilies, peonies, and orchids. Then we've got the pliable fabric leaves. It's much to take in, yes?
So while I think a Dolce & Gabbana floral headpiece would be a darling and daring accessory to my favourite LBD for a dinner party or special night out, I'm wondering what you think? Do you find these Dolce & Gabbana headbands to be beautiful or bizarre?
