Are these Y-3 wool-knit harem pants beautiful or bizarre?
I'm torn, ladies. Really. Harem pants were everywhere in the South of France last summer.
Ironic, right?
Especially since French women are known around the world for their effortless elegance, natural beauty, love of food, and --

You know how every Christmas you know you'll see at least one person in a Christmas sweater? (and I don't just mean at your annual Ugly Sweater Party).
A similar phenomenon happens each Halloween.
From styling orange and black, to costuming up before heading to the office (thank goodness Halloween falls on a Saturday this year), there's one person out there who never fails to accessorize for the season.
Enter these Jessica Kagan Cushman coral skull earrings. Very Alexander McQueen or Thomas Wylde, right? WRONG.
I mean, Johnny Depp styling pirate is one thing, but this?
Bizarre.

Mostly recognized for her flowing romantic gowns and hints of femininity, I guess Alberta Ferretti was attempting to channel a Grecian goddess with this toga-ish mini dress.
‘Attempting’ is, of course, the operative word, because this dress falls short on the fabulous meter (and I’m not talking about the hemline).
While the Net-a-Porter editors think it brilliant, I think it bizarre.

If a denim mini skirt is classic, that would make a denim mini dress ultra-classic since there’s more material, right?

Though there’s no doubt that I absolutely adore MK and Ashley Olsen — well, more Ashley than MK, but that’s another matter — I’ve yet to find a piece from their Elizabeth and James line that I really love. There are dresses I almost like, skirts I might wear, and jackets like this one.
This Elizabeth and James hooded design looks chic with the hood down; it wears like a classic silk shawl collar jacket. I actually like the panel-like collar, the bracelet sleeves, and the banded cuffs.
The taupe colour is spring/summer-appropriate, as is the pure silk material and the fact that the jacket isn’t lined. While it’s worn loose in the photo, I’d cinch the waist with a skinny belt.
