Hope Hearts: A.R. Trapp Composer Glasses

Fashion - Women > Jewelry / Timepieces

While glasses of all shapes and sizes have been drifting on and off stye and trend radars for what seems like eternity, I've always found myself most drawn to classic shapes in practical colours.

Take for example these A.R. Trapp composer glasses at J.Crew. The Manhattan-based opticians at A.R. Trapp have been in the frame-making business for more than 30 years. Creating classic frames from timeless designs, A.R. Trapp glasses have an air of vintage, and will appeal to stylish individuals of both sexes.

Because of my fair-hair and complexion, clear frames have never worked for me. I've always looked best in black or tortoise frames. That being said, I'm loving the balance of classic and modern found in these A.R. Trapp composer glasses. Half black, half clear, the composer glasses were designed in Manhattan with German-made plastic frames. I think the frames would an element of geek-chic to anyone's personal style. They're both playful and sophisticated, and the rounded square shape is flattering on almost all face shapes.
