Much like MK Olsen, this Nicole Romano silver lace bead draped necklace is messy and chic at the same time (minus the Starbucks cup). It definitely makes a statement, what with its fantastic mixture of 18k yellow gold plated brass and nickel plated brass. The brass balls and beads are assorted in size to give the necklace a thrown-together feel. I'm especially loving the lace-like effect of the plated nickel, and the delicate drape of those thin strands.

It'll run you a good 300 dollars, which is a lot to ask for a piece of jewelry that's only gold plated. On a positive note, the wear won't be noticeable even after the gold fades because there's brass underneath.
