Linda Farrow Luxe Cat-Eye Frame Snakeskin Sunglasses

Linda Farrow Luxe

One name for you today, loves: Linda Farrow Luxe.

A brief history for you: Farrow's husband was an optician, Farrow asked husband to help design sunglasses, Farrow and her husband designed Yoko Ono's crazy shades in the 70s, got really famous, had a son named Simon, son named Simon found one of mom's old sunglasses catalogues and decided to breathe new life into the line. The result?

Linda Farrow Luxe.

Today it's not just Yoko Ono styling Linda Farrow's spectacles. The line has a following of celebrities that include Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, and Nicole Richie.

My personal favourite from the line (and yours too apparently, since these babies are sold out)? These cat-eye frame, snakeskin shades. Extreme in every way - from the exaggerated shape to the designer display box - these shades make a serious statement.

Hope Hearts: Monica Vinader 18-Karat Gold-Plated Earrings

Fashion - Women > Jewelry / Timepieces

There's something about summer heat that makes me not want to layer on 5 strands of my favourite pearls or wear my heaviest diamond earring studs.

Maybe it's the thought of sweat, maybe it's the sunburn I'm sporting, or maybe it's simply the fact that I've always believed summer to be the time when one should wear clothing that's loose and light.

That's why I'm loving Monica Vinader's 18-karat gold-plated earrings.

The patterned coin drop disc adds just enough depth to make these earrings exciting. They'd be an easy and elegant addition to pretty much any outfit. The hook and fastening at the ear means they'll put at work and play, and the light-weight gold-plating means they're perfect for this summer season.

Kenneth Jay Lane Chain-Link Bracelet

Kenneth Jay Lane Chain-Link Bracelet

The king of costume jewelry, Kenneth Jay Lane, is known the world over for his eye-catching and art-like pieces.

Taking cues from menswear - think trousers and brogues - I'm loving this chain-link bracelet by said designer. At first glance it looks like a man's timepiece, but upon further inspection you can see this vintage-inspired bracelet is reserved for women only. Simple but stylish, this bracelet is composed of silver-tone rhodium-plated chain-link and fixed together with a 22-karat gold-plated clasp.

The perfect addition to any day-time look this summer, I'm seeing this bracelet worn alone on the wrist as a stand-out accoutrement.

Cutler and Gross D-Shaped Acetate Glasses

Cutler and Gross D-Shaped Acetate Glasses

I'm at Canada 3.0 today, where Canada's creatives meet Canada's tech community, so it's fitting that I'm channeling my inner geek chic.

I've got my eye on these green and brown tortoiseshell acetate glasses by Cutler and Gross. These D-shaped frames are hand-made and feature the Cutler and Gross gold-tone logo on the inside arm. For those of you blessed with 20/20 - or better - vision, you can still style these babies prescription-free.

These glasses are the perfect dimensions - they measure 5.5 inches horizontal and 2 inches vertical - and would flatter virtually every face shape.

Fenton/Fallon for J.Crew Carrington Side Drape Necklace

Fashion - Women > Jewelry / Timepieces

Fenton and Fallon for J.Crew

Typically I stick to pearls, but I absolutely adore this uneven, edgy-chic necklace by Fenton and Fallon for J.Crew. It adds further evidence to the fact that sometimes I think Dana Lorenz is borderline genius.

Glass crystals, brass, and ox-plated steel chains make for an unusual tangle of jewelry that would look fantastic however you decide to wear it. Whether you pair it with a low neckline to accentuate your décolletage, or style it over your favourite white or black American Apparel tee, this necklace is a keep er.

A classic length at 21.5 inches, the longest drapes will hit below your breastbone.
