I think you're a genius.

Your stripped-down, less is more, dramatically demure Fall 2010 RTW show at NYFW really made a statement. Sure there are skeptics who think you didn't have enough $$$ to shell out to celebrities-actors-models-singers to sit in the front row, but really - even if that were true - would it matter? I'd like to think that you just wanted to showcase your latest and greatest creative genius how it was meant to be - to editors and buyers, just like in the old days.

I love how you and Robert Duffy literally tore down the curtain separating your models from the rest of the world, and that you sent them down a catwalk made from plywood. And how Robert Duffy tweeted all the way up to the start of the show? And how you streamed the show live on your website? Both intimate and interactive.

You really took things back to basics even though your collection was anything but.

PS The mongolian lamb fur looks exceptionally warm.
