Much like a shift dress, the strapless dress has a certain je ne sais quoi.
Well, with certain permits - read: A woman should be able to style strapless without having to adjust every 5 minutes.
I was pleasantly surprised with SS10 interpretations of the strapless, by Doo.Ri, Rebecca Taylor, and Tommy Hilfiger. Each of these designs feature three things that make them work:
1. a flattering hemline,
2. flow in fabric,
and 3. some texture.
And even though they do have similarities, each dress is unique.
