Marni’s patent shoulder bag, a vivid, vibrant green, is the epitome of artistic accoutrements. Does this not look like something you’d find at a modern art gallery? Pure patent leather has never looked so structured. I love how Castiglioni designed this bag with geometry in mind, using the simple technique of colour-blocking to accentuate the bag’s shape.
Perhaps my favourite part of this Marni shoulder bag is the fact that there are no fastenings to close it: The leather shoulder straps simply pull through the black bar to close and open the bag.
From any angle, this bag is a keeper.
