Before I discovered Toronto designer Jay Godfrey’s darling designs, I thought ombré was just a modernized tye-dye — overdone and ugly, — but now the cascading colour-block technique is really growing on me.
From shirts and shoes to bags and bohéme-like scarves, I’ve compiled my top ombré trend list over on ThisNext.
Do check it out and tell me what catches your eye!

I’ve never been a huge fan of ombre either, but I do like the bikini and the skirt from Express!
I was looking for a beach hat that would cover my face…and body. I think I just found on it on your post. Thanks!
I’m all about the wide-brimmed hats for this summer, too! I really like the Juicy hat, especially in yellow!
And Crystal, the EXPRESS skirt comes in a beautiful navy/tourquoise combo — not just the pink. As for the bikini, it is FABulous. It would look great with your colouring!
Yes, I saw that it came in tourquoise–one of my favorite colors!
I think ombre looks adorable…except for the price tag. That is until I saw a rather affordable ombre bag at JcPenney last night! While I didn’t get it I was definately infatuated with it! Silver/black and bronze/dark brown…either one I would love to have in my wardrobe!
