The swing coat is a fine homage to the classic styles of the 40s and 50s... of course, if you favor this style you might do well to look into a vintage coat - at a Fraction of the cost. I recently added to my collection a vintage, pastel mink coat for just under $100 - oh so Little Edie! Most people who own mink coats take very good care of them so a high quality vintage fur can continue to provide many decades of wonderful wear and with such a modest initial investment it is easy to justify alterations (shiring, dying, tailoring, etc) to customize.
