Although clothing design will never revert to styles from the Middle Ages, fashion — from the wasp-waisted skirts of the 50s to the bright, neon colours of the 80s — will always repeat itself.
In his book, A Century of Fashion, Elle magazine journalist François Baudot examines fashion throughout the 20th century. His final composition is an exlemplary album of fashion images from the world’s most commendable creative geniuses.

Oh, very nice. I have this book..picked it up last year. It’s a great short and simple read with succinct biographies of this era’s most amazing designers. Not to mention, fantastic images!
I agree. It was really inspiring to read. And for me, it’s a great reference work.
