Though I love, love, LOVE the purple blazer, I’d have an easier time loving the entire look if the jodphur-esque pants weren’t army green, and if the socks weren’t grey. The wild-child plaid shirt I can handle.
My personal philosophy has always been understated elegance, and to achieve that, I always try to marry one flashy-unique-so-totally-me piece with the best basics.
If you’re going to do stark contrast, do it in a way that complements your personal style.
