Marni Fall 07 | Ready-to-Wear Collection

Can we please just take a moment to absorb the wonder that was yesterday’s Fall 07 Marni show? Although I’m not all about shiny PVC and nylon as key pieces in my wardrobe, I am all about an updated take on accoutrements, aviator shades, and even Russian trapper hats.
Perhaps my favourite part? These phenomenal boots. They’re a move I’d expect more from the genius Betsey Johnson, but Consuelo Castiglioni does me proud with her nylon, platform-soled version of the ski boot.
Don’t expect to find me hitting the slopes wearing these babies, though. They’re much too flossy for that.
